The bold and the beautiful

Yay the chairs are finished! Here is a picture of them before...
Here is them after....!!!!
As you can see I like to take shots from all angles so you can get the whole picture. : )

I painted the chairs three coats of white. Then hubby stripped the old fabric off.
This is the chair after the fabric was put on.
Hot hubby working.
Here I am hot gluing the trim on.

Alison- Richard stapled on the new fabric after the old fabric was removed with an air compressed staple gun (strongly recommend) and then I hot glued the trim on. Richard is always the one to hang pictures and that sort of thing up perfectly so I am so glad he was such a great help putting the fabric on. I don't think I would have done near as well without him!
Hope you had a great weekend! Love you all!

Be still my heart, a girl after my own heart, Black and white stripe!!!! My favorite. They turned out beautifully and they make the room. You must be so proud and happy with what you have accomplished. I am still trying to tackle the antique rocker, I definitely have a love hate relationship going on with it. I posted the fabric I am using and you can see it and the trim but the chair gave us yet again another problem but we have conquered it and we are on our way. Happy Monday!! Kathysue

i wish i could email you because i have so many questions!

i just found 2 chairs (practically identical) to yours on craigslist for a steal!

i've been searching for months for a pair, but now that i've found them i'm worried about recovering them. then i remembered this post!

i wanted to know if you did them yourself (if so, how did it go?!!). or did you have it done?

if you have a moment, let me know!

yours look so great! xoxo
