So excited to show you our new chairs! They were amazingly easy to transform with just a couple coats of red spray paint! Evelette even helped put the screws in for Mama to screw them in. She got a total kick out of it! Luvs! via The Way We Are
OK so this is going to tell my age, but we had these around our table in the 70's. They were black trim with natural cane. I loved them. Your dining area looks great and I adore all of your colors!
Flashback city. I had one of those end chairs, the large ones, in my bedroom in high school (way back in the '80's). I thought it was just about the coolest thing ever. Fun to see them again. Nice re-do.
I had these exact same chairs on my verandah when i lived in Italy. I'll have to post them for you to see. My neighbor( a German lady) gave them to me and i just loved them. I'm loving the red too. Happy Monday! xx
The mix of tall chairs sitting at the head of the table combined with the shorter chairs makes a visually appealing effect. The red paint job definitely jazzes up the chairs. Easy DIY project. Thanks for all the great ideas!
OMG, I had those chairs, and so does Liz Lemon on 30Rock! They look great in red, but a little word of advice, don't sit with one leg tucked underneath you , because I did that and my foot went through the wicker seat. Treat them gingerly.
this room really turned out great. the red gave you the modern dose you were looking for but still staying true to your vintage glam self. way to go, good job!
I love the whole combo, Leah! Everything is so unexpected, yet pulled together and funky/glamour!!! You go girl! Beautiful! :) Oh, your new tunes just came on!:)
OH yeah! Love them!
