Here's what's happening in our home.....
The overstock cowhide rug came and I am crazy for it! Our "formal" living room has really become the fun funky place I have always known it could be. Probably the next thing that I will be on the hunt for is 2 gorgeous lamps for the top of the piano. What do you think of this space? I am always open to opinions!
And I must be LOVEd or something because I LOVE this new LOVE pillow from my sister whom I LOVE! Did I mention she made it?

ReplyDeleteThat really makes the room! The only thing I would change is the bookshelf, it would look nice with a little less stuff on it, maybe paint or wallpaper the back a color liven up the dark wood a bit? I wish I had a formal living room! Looks great!

Fun and funky for sure! I like how you tied one of the pillows in with the drapes in the adjoining room. Did you make the yellow chevron pillow? Looks like some fabric I just found:) I'm curious where your previous rug ended up?!

ReplyDeleteIt all just looks so great honey..Love the rug and Love your love pillow...the only thing I would suggest is try placing the rug at an angle...diamond shape...did this at my sisters place and it looked a million times better. XOXO

Other things I love about your house are the green sofa, colourfull curtains, chic zigzagpillows, cowhiderug and your bedspread.
Could be nice to see a cute bartray next to the bookshelf gives a welcome feel to guests.
or 2 DIY upholstered armchairs and place them where you stood to take the picture.
