Monday at My Home

Hello my Luvs!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, with lots of good rest!
I on the other hand was busy busy!
My new office chair from Overstock arrived!!! I love it with the sheepskin draped over it so cozy! Note to self get another one from Ikea!

I thought I would just show the cowhide in the family room.

My biggest project was painting our guest bedroom. We are turning it into a big girl room for Evie.
This is the guest bedroom before. Ignore Evelette's sippy cups she insisted on putting there! ; )

I painted the whole room white even the ceiling and woodwork. It was the last room in our house to be painted and it feels good to have that done. I cut out triangles of fabric remnants I had and sewed them together for the penant. We decided to move the green dresser in here for storage for her.

I found the lamp at the GW and painted it white. My sister was so sweet and hot glued the flowers on from the dollar store.

I think we are off to good start!

    Very cute! Love the lamp! I've had my eye on that office chair for a while too... they occasionally stock it at my local Home Sense store... looks great!

    I love the turquoise wall color. It's my favorite color. It's so serene and relaxing. Reminds me of the beach!

    Oh my goodness! Evelette is getting her big girl's room? It's turning out fab!! I love that lamp with the flowers on the lampshade. She is one lucky little lady with a creative awesome Mom! Her room is going to be gorgeous. Can't wait to see the final outcome!
