Brace face

I have to get braces again at the age of 24. I thought my brace face days were over but after I had Evie for some reason my front two teeth moved a little. I will only have to wear them for a little while and only on my front six teeth but STILL!!!
Here's a flower my hubby got for me to take my mind off of it.
Luvs!

  2. I'm certain they look cute =) I'm 26 and I think I need them too! My mom couldn't afford them when I was younger and I hate my crooked front teeth. boo

Here's to making metal fashionable! <3

  4. i too had the full metal braces put on after i had my son. my teeth always sort of needed them, but i swear after going through labor (and all of that gritting of teeth) they moved, alot! so while he was a toddler, i had them put on for a full 2 years. glad to hear it's only for a short time! you'll be back to your old self in no time. ;)

  5. I thought for some reason you were older! Not because of looks of course you are just so mature! Don't worry it won't be that bad, plus your husband seems top have many tactics up his sleeve!

  6. I feel you. I got braces for the second time when I was 25 and had them for over two years!!! I hated it and cried to my husband every time the ortho said, six more months. That was his go-to time and I felt like they'd never come off. I finally told him I need to move on with my life and begged for him to take them off. Luckily, you'll only have them on for a bit. Ironically though, my husband sorta like them.

  8. I had braces put on when I was 26-for the first time. It's not so bad. The upside was that since things got stuck in them I ended up losing a lot of weight! Hmmm, maybe I should have the put back on. LOL!

  9. Aw, I'm sure you will still look adorable Leah! At least at the age of 24, you're not in that awkward middle school, bad skin stage hehe Good luck :)

  13. Don't fret my dear, i'm 22 and i decided to get mine put back on at the start of the year.

I can't say they're not painful and annoying (remember, soft foods and painkillers) but the good news - almost the year has passed in the blink of an eye. A few months of embarrassment is worth a lifetime of a perfect smile! xx

  14. Oh No- that is so annoying ;-) I am sure it will all be worth it in the end! XX Samie

ps: My mum got hers when she was 32 years old lol.

  19. It has to be better now. I mean, ten more years of technology and less junior high kids around to make fun of you. I am sure you will be glamorous in metal!

I'm hoping to get braces in the next few years, but more than likely we'll spring for invisalign!

  21. Just think how perfect your teeth will be after they're off :) I've been contempleting getting something done on my bottom teeth which have become crooked despite years of braces as a teenager but I'm a bit apprehensive...

  22. I've been thinking of getting braces for my bottom teeth. I have two teeth too that are crooked but they make all of them look like that. If it helps, I wore braces as a kid (only on the bottom which is what I need again) & I'm 33. Ack!

  23. I wore braces for a few months at 28 to straighten out some teeth that had moved. It was worth it!

  27. I can totally relate, Leah. I had braces as an adult and initially it sucks, but in the end it is SO worth your beautiful smile!!
