Monday at My Home

Totally kicking myself yet again because I forgot to take the all important before picture! Oh well, what can I do now?! We had this black filing cabinet that was just taking up room in our garage. I decided to bring it back to life by spray painting it yellow for a fun new side table in our formal living room.

Please ignore the piano area. I am contemplating doing some sort of art wall and right now it is more of a hoge poge.

    Love it! Too funny. Literally 30 seconds ago just posted about mustard yellow. Contemplating add just a little bit of it to my home.

    I love how cheery yellow is. This combo of yours really makes me smile.

    It looks great!

    I have a gray filing cabinet that I need to spray white...what are some of your tips for a good spray paint job? I am much more inclined to ask my mechanic neighbor if he can spray if for me, but I know that I could do it myself!

    It looks really great! I painted a filing cabinet for my office but never thought of spray painting it.. duh! That room is really looking great!

    Love the filing cabinet! Your paint job is sooo smooth! Any tips? I spray painted a mirror this weekend and it looks great from afar but when you get up close, there's a lot of bumps and weird things happening haha

    Lovely and we don't need before pictures...I think we all know how awlful a regular filing cabinet looks and this is fab. Love the yellow against the black and white.

    Looks awesome!! I've been contemplating spraying ours too, but it's so tall!!( plus, I have so many other DIY projects that I haven't started yet, I probably shouldn't add another 'til I've completed one or two!!) haha

    I am loving the yellow filing cabinet. What a great idea! I have the same black one... not the prettiest to look at. But look how cute yours is now, and functional. You can sit in that cute chair and file away. :)
