Stopping by

Just stopping by my Luvs to say hello. Baby boy is still not here and I am really feeling what it's like to be a time bomb. ie everyone looking at you like your going to explode! Evelette was four days late so we will just have to see how late baby boy will be, otherwise this Mama is going to get an induction and get him out! For a nice distraction I have started decorating for fall, and a few cute white pumpkins has been the perfect start.

A new leaf

I am the sort of person that is drawn to a broad spectrum of design and decor. But lately it seems I have turned a new leaf in my own homes decor. Instead of being drawn to the dark, dramatic, and vintage I am leaning towards lighter colors, and modern lines.
This home for instance that is being featured at Style at Home is a great example of what I am loving right now.
There is still the great mix of amazing vintage pieces but paired with all white spaces and modern lines. Gorgeous right?

Maybe I can convince my hubby to buy these new Flamestitch pillows from Furbish for me. I mean is it too much to ask? lol GORGEOUS! Happy Wednesday my sweet Luvs!

Monday at My Home

Happy Labor day everyone!
I really wish I was in labor but we will just have to be patient. Right?!!!! I have to admit I'm going a slight bit crazy but I'm so glad to be having so much fun with my family over the long weekend.

So baby boy here we are waiting and ready for you to come! Love you so much and can't wait to hold you!

New season

A new year a new season of Nate Berkus and I for one am very excited! His first season turned out to be filled with amazing diy ideas and new discoveries. One of my favorite of his discoveries, was Mr. Goodwill Hunting. If you haven't heard of him you should definitely check out his blog where he transforms objects and spaces from thrift store finds to grown up glamour!
Here is just one of his project's on the Nate Berkus show where he had $300 to create a glam worthy living room for a very lucky lady.

Totally chic right?!!
