Great idea!

Have you checked out my sister's blog Once Upon a Farm? Well if you haven't you are truly missing out. You see I am not the only one in our family with a creative side. My big sis is always cooking, sewing, crafting, and just generally being the best Mom and Wife ever!
Check out this adorable idea she had to hang horse hooks to a mirror in her laundry room.

I spied this charming dining room over at Apartment Therapy and I just had to show it off to you! I love the all white with the natural wood, the vintage with the modern, the rustic with the glamorous. A truly well mixed space.

Christmas inspiration

This is the first year that Evelette has been really excited for Christmas because she asks everyday "Is is Christmas day?" It just breaks my heart to say no and we still have 17 more days! Poor thing!
But that also means 17 more days of gorgeous Christmas decorations!

Monday at My Home

Sometimes I wonder how we are going to survive the holidays when just after a crazy weekend we all have some sort of injury or sickness? I am telling you a little newborn with a fever and stuffed up nose is the saddest thing!!! We partied hard but had a blast. Now we are just nursing ourselves back to health on this bright and sunny day in Oregon.

One of our ventures this weekend was a father daughter dance at our church and I was practically in tears I was so excited for Evelette! She had the time of her life and I am so glad we got pics to capture such a special time.

And what's a Monday at My Home without a little something from my home? These are fabulous new pillows from My Painted Pillows by Michelle Mathis. They are hand painted pillowcases that are truly works of art.

Totally LOVE

I totally LOVE Stark creative director Ashley Stark's Manhattan home tour in this months Elle Decor magazine. I love every piece of furniture, they all seem one of a kind. I also love all the artwork with touches of humor like all the candy jars in the kitchen and hand chairs. What's a home without some fun? ; )
