Another day another tour

I just couldn't help myself when I saw this adorable home tour on Apartment Therapy (gosh I am really starting to be obsessed with that site) I just had to show you all. It might just be the most cheerful home ever! Mike and Maddie are the cute couple who live in this charming, eclectic, and whimsical home located in New York's upper west side.

I love the Anthro Rhino head. It is the perfect touch of Whimsy.
The light blue walls and the dark wood floors contrast beautifully and give it that cozy yet uplifting feel.

I have always loved wrap around staircases!

This zig zag rug may just be my favorite thing here!

Their patio is darling and check out that view!
I could totally picture an amazing rooftop garden here. So picture perfect!

Designer Spotlight

Today I wanted to do a spotlight on Designer Summer Thorton's work. She is uber talented and already has an impressive collection of her fabulous work. I wanted to share just a few of my favorites with you.

I am in love with these wrought iron wall divider's. The total symmetry of the room is perfect. I find myself doing lots of "pairs" in my own house as well. It makes it all look orderly even if you have lots of lots of stuff in a room.

The lines of this coffee table are just stunning and so chic.
I want to just pluck these chairs and that table right out of here and put them in my house. It is like jewelry for your home.

Um yes where can I find some of this wallpaper for extremely cheap please?
Or better yet this wallpaper?!!!! Don't even get me started on that love seat! I have been just itching to do another upholstery project!
These chairs are just perfection. I love taking traditional or vintage furniture and bringing it into the now, and this is a perfect example of that.
Love these curtains and that mirror. Tired of me gushing yet?!! I just can't help it! I need a couple of houses just so I can decorate like crazy!

Show off

I feel like a bit fat show off showing you all my treasures from my birthday (one small advantage of having very large family). But where else can I gloat? Lol.

I love this card my husband gave me, it's actually a Taylor Swift one (who knew she designed greeting cards?!!). So cute!!! He also got me two fantastic bouquets, the picture above is just a shot of one of them.
These pretty flowers were from my in-laws, gorgeous no?

Drum roll....... Yay i got the Ikea PS Maskros Pendant lamp!

Party time

Birthday time is here and I am mostly excited just to hear Evelette say "Happy Erday!" We are going out for Mexican (one of my favs) tonight! It is probably going to sound crazy but I can't believe I am turning 24! For the first time I am realizing how fast life all goes!
