I learned to sew!

Thank you everyone for all of your input for my living room! I took a lot of advice into consideration and I decided to make new panels. My mom's really good friend Patty spent most of yesterday helping me learn how to sew! It was easier than I thought but it definitely takes a lot of time. She was so wonderful teaching me so patiently. Thank you so much Patty!

I also took my friend Christa and my sister Rachel's advice to add a sheep skin rug (which I already had) under the coffee table. I also decided to keep the coffee table. People were kinda split on whether I should keep it or not but I just love it way too much. It's a fun table because the top spins and I could see our kids someday playing games on it. But who knows I may change my mind someday. : )
My friend Jerushah gave me an amazing idea to paint the chairs white and do a black and white stripe on the chairs. My husband liked it so much that he said that would be "Bad Ass"! I still can't believe he got that excited about something to do with decorating let alone cuss! I will show you the chairs when they are all done!
I added some blue bottles and books to our tea cart.
This is a closer look at the panel fabric.

You could also do zebra print on the chairs, to tie the run in. I love the bowl and vase on the coffee table, and also the blue bottles that you added.
The fabric is perfect I think!
