I read an interview with her recently and she talked about her red lipstick and how she gets it to stay, I'll see if I can find it. I'm always curious about that too! She's so fabulous!
I just wish I didn't feel ridiculous when I try to wear red lipstick. I just can't pull it off.

Red lips are high maintenance, if you don't want to look like a slut! Lip liner is a must. Fill your lips in, too, so if the lipstick rubs off, you still have colour on your lips and not some 80s look with a darker outline! And to get the perfect shape, use a concealer around the edges... I could go on and on... It's not a look I do very often because it's too hard with kids around!

Love her and love her look! I am a red lipped gal most days, there are a few tricks to keeping it on and looking good, but it is a lot of work to do so LOL

This is a great example of California style..not that this outfit can't be worn almost anywhere...but it is a great example of what we Californians wear on a daily basis. Kudos, Gwen.

She's the best! If you line your lips first and color them in with pencil, then dust with a little powder, blot and then apply lipstick lightly it will last longer and stay put. xoxo
It's true, how *does* she get that red lipstick to stay on so well?? I wish I could look this effortless and cool. Most days, the only part about me that looks good are my glasses. lol! And only cuz they're new. sigh.. I love these Gwensdays!
