i painted my dinning room a deep blue - sorta' like the top pic - LOVE IT .. DO IT!!!

I want to do my foyer in Newburyport blue (photo on my blog). Actually, I just want it to look like the picture which is much lighter. A grey-ish blue. Your pictures are lovely!

I say go for it. It is contemporary color, but it can also be used as a "neutral" by adding some classic or contemporary decor pieces.

My bedroom in both NY & Dallas used to be the color of the blue in the third pic. Moving into my new house, I decided to finally change it up and go white/cream - but I did love it!
