Personal Update

Hello Luvs!
So I know it's been awhile since I have given you all an update on my situation after the dnc. So I thought I would just post a quick update. I went to my doctors last week and she informed me that the pregnancy was molar. I won't go into to much detail but that basically means that if we had not taken it out it would have become cancerous. After I heard that I was so happy we acted quickly and removed it. She said that that kind of cancer is serious too because it gets into tissue that makes it spread quickly. I am still going back once a week to have my blood tested to make sure they got it all. She said there is a 18 to 25% chance that I could still get cancer so that is why they have to keep a close eye on it. In my case everything looks really good so that is somewhat of a relief.
The hardest part of it all is the waiting. As you all can probably tell by now, I am not the most patient of people. : ) My levels need to be at zero for three weeks and then we have to wait 2 months after that to start trying again. Which really is the best so my body can totally recover. I have my ups and my downs but through it all I have Christ to sustain me!

my Mom had that!!! - but she was "pregnant" for almost 7 months with it! (this was before all the technology we have today) - it's why me and my brother r so far apart - b/c she had to wait a while before she could try again .. till this day she get's upset over "Ronny" (she thought it was a boy and named him Ronny) ..

my thought r with u love!!!! - i wish you nothing but good health and happiness through this!

Leah..3 of my good friends have had molar pregnancies and all have gone on to have healthy babies after the molar pregnancies. Two pregnancies were after the 1st child was born and 3rd friend was after her 3rd child was born. One had to have chemo(mild dose) but has two very healthy children after this. I hope this gives you some good news and strength and you are in my prayers for a healthy result.Have a great weekend..you deserve it!Sinead x
