Monday at My Home

"Oops I did it again, I made you believe..." that my formal living area was complete. : )

My Mom gave away her piano a couple of years ago and I really regretted not getting it from her. However recently our dear friends that took it decided to give it away because no one was playing it. So of course I jumped at the chance!!! It is now in our front window!

Here's the latest addition. Please excuse the movers under the feet of the piano we still need to take those out!

I dream of someday having a piano to play again! This piece is beautiful ... And I'm sure the sentimental value makes it even more lovely to you.

Oh so lucky! I wish we had a piano too.. we had a piano in our house but after my family moved to a smaller abode, we had to sell it. Does Evelette get piano lessons in the future?? Beautiful new addition Leah!!

It looks like it was meant to be there. Through a strange set of circumstances, we once ended up with a piano and none of us play. I donated it to charity but now often wish I still had it.

I love the way you treated the seat! I'm planning to recover the bench to our piano and love this idea. My daughter may practice more if the bench is covered in a soft fabric!

I get our family piano when I get married. My mom is trying to give it to me now, but I'm trying to talk her into waiting until i at least have a house so i'm not moving it all over.

The piano is beautiful and it doesn't take up too much space. Perfect way to add a classic Hollywood glamour to the room, especially with the white rug! Beautiful!

Oh! I am ridiculously jealous. I wish I had a home large enough for a piano. I want one so badly and my husband says NO. Boo!

I love how it turned out, Leah! I have such fond memories of the piano and all the books we used to store in that bench! You are such a wonderful visionary! Love you!
