I could not get my husband to let me paint this buffet that is under our stairs (thank goodness he is my best editor). The piece is just too dark for the spot and it really needed a punch of color to lighten it up, so I was really trying to think of an alternative solution. So last week when I was looking in our linen closet, I spied these curtains that I had made but wasn't currently using. I thought "Hey maybe I can use these to drape over that buffet"! So I took three of them, laid two on the outside and one over the middle and it actually kinda looks like a tailored table skirt.

I got this London canvas at Marshalls on clearance!
