GREAT idea on the silverware!! Sorry about the drapes . . . what if you added a panel at the bottom or add a panel and flip it to the top. Maybe a print of sorts. I've done that before . . .
I agree with everyone above: add panels! Would love so amazing..Try silver or go for Leah inspired bold print! I can't wait to see what you end up choosing and doing for these!
Cute silverware! On the curtains I agree adding a pannel, maybeYou have a fav fabric that u used already in the livingroom or greek key adds a chic detail as well. Good luck ;)
I've done the same thing with a set of my curtains! I hemmed prior to washing and dryer. Bummer. Now I have to remember to hang dry the rest of the curtains in the house that were hemmed prior to the courtesy "shrink"!
love the silverware, thanks for the idea! i have no need for colorful silverware (no parties to plan) but i might just have to go buy some plasti dip anyway!
I saw that Plasti Dip featured on a Nate Berkus episode and have been wanting to try it ever since. And I'm sorry about your drapes - what about sewing a bold panel in another colour to the bottom?
Okay, I've never heard of plastidip but that cutlery is adorable! What kind of texture is it?? Seriously, what a genius idea to make mismatched silverware cute again. LOVE it. Have a fabulous weekend! Xo, Katie
i am in love with the silverware! I actually found something very similar on a website already made and its SO expensive!! I'm definitely going to try this out, thanks for the idea!!

That's such a great idea! I have kinda thought about it but I have no clue what would look good with these curtains! Got any ideas?

How is the drapery hung? If it is not hung with the rings that clip onto the drapery you could switch to those, it will add some length for sure !
Love what you did with the silverware! You could shorten the curtains to windowsill height!

A white panel starting just below the window sill.
