This room is sooo my style. I too tend to incorporate a traditional rug pairs with contemporary furnishing...because I love the contrast. But the thing that really drew me in is the Venetian mirror...because I too tend to add a bit of Venetian in every room. I feel it is the lipstick to finish off the entire ensemble.

I really like it when outdoor elements are brought indoors and used as art. I'm totally not a nature girl so this is the best compromise for me.
