Hi Luvs!
I am so excited to show off what I am MOST proud of… my fam! I can't believe how the years have just rolled by with my hubby of 6 1/2 years and how our children are just growing like all get out! I am so blessed, and have no idea why but you can bet I thank God for each and everyone of them everyday because I never want to take them for granted. I do have to remind myself to slow down though because with my work and just with the hustle and bustle of everyday life it is easy to just miss the little things. So I definitely have to stop and smell the roses with them.

So here we all are, hope you enjoy! OH and the pictures were taken on my parents farm by the fabulous Kate Kelly.

A peek into what I have been up to

I thought you all deserved a little update on what I have been up too ; )
First off I have lots of new designs in my etsy shop so you should all stop by and take a peek before I run out. This crystal cuff is just one of my new gems…

We finally got our new couch as well. I really could not be more pleased with it! I searched high and low online to see what I loved the most and the best was definitely this white modern take on the classic chesterfield. I found it on Cost Plus and for the price I was sold!

Oh and if you aren't already following me on instagram, you should totally check mine out. I post lots of fun outfits of the day!

Selling our couch and painting with white

Yes this post is pretty much in the title. lol
We are selling our Z gallerie couch for $750 that was originally $2000. It is in very good condition (so please let me know if you are in the PDX area and interested)
I also decided to completely paint the large vaulted room in our home, white. I am excited for it to be clean and bright for the many wet days to come. The key now is to add elements to cozy it up a bit. So stay tuned ; )

New Patio

Remember our mud hole of a backyard?
Well... We finally got it all done! We got our new patio pored and after it dried we ran to Z gallerie and Ikea to pick out patio essentials.

We found this amazing cover at Z gallerie and on sale too!

We also found these amazing candle holders at Z gallerie on sale as well...

We found the table and chairs at Ikea. The table was a floor model so it was on sale as well.

I cannot believe it's all finally finished! It seriously feels like we are on vacation when we go outside. Our own private Haven ; )

New DIY artwork project

I love this dress by Mondo, from Project Runway All Stars, SOOO much that it suddenly crossed my mind, why not make this into my own DIY artwork? He used a form of art called "inkblotting". If nothing else I can say I tried it right?!!!

Happy Monday my Luvs!

Remember my pink kitchen island? Well I really loved that thing and I still can't believe I sold it but when I was practically given an even nicer one for $10 I couldn't refuse. I mostly love it for it's large countertop and open shelving.

We hosted a garage sale at our house a couple weekends ago where a few families sold there stuff at our house. One of the items was this kitchen island that was going for $75. I thought it was cool and all but I really loved my pink island and didn't really want to start another project. But when it hadn't sold halfway through the day and it started to rain, the owner offered to sell it to me for $10! How could I refuse?!!

It just needed a few upgrades and a little love...

We ended up sanding it, painting it, replacing the top, and adding new hardware. Not bad for $10 bucks huh?

So I have had my eye on this West elm Moroccan rug for a while now. However the size I wanted was going to be $500!
