Finished!

So with the help of my lovely readers (via email) I added two more silhouettes. I actually am liking the bird and deer more than I am liking our own silhouettes! Thanks Brittney! I think it turned out pretty well and our walls at the Hill household are really starting to get some personality! I am working on the Polaroid heart so I hope to show you soon!

Ikea Idea

This frame from Ikea is so fun. However several people have told me they don't know what to put inside because it is so large.

My mom and sister have been using cork liner for a lot of different projects. My sister had a cute idea. She put it on the outside of a coffee can for a planter, she put pins and magnets on it for notes. So when I was over at her house I thought of this fun idea to hang jewelry. Let me know what you think. If you try this at home make sure you put three layers down of the cork liner so the pins stay in! We made the mistake of not making it thick enough and my husband and I had loud crash noises in the middle of the night!

Wall Lovin

Our bare silver walls in our bedroom finally got some lovin! For some reason I focuse all my energy on decorating the main living areas and forget about our bedrooms. I guess it's probably just becuase we spend most of our time in the family room and kitchen. I have been inspired by frames hanging with no artwork in them lately in different pictures and I love the idea. I finally just did it. We went to Goodwill twice and got them all and then spray painted them. My hubby helped me hang them this weekend after we put Evelette to bed. It was fun, like putting a puzzle together! Let me know what you think. I might go back and try and find a couple more frames to fill out the wall a bit more. It kinda reminds me of wallpaper...

I found this dresser at the Salvation Army and painted it green the rest is history.....
