Beautiful dining room

I spied this charming dining room over at Apartment Therapy and I just had to show it off to you! I love the all white with the natural wood, the vintage with the modern, the rustic with the glamorous. A truly well mixed space.
Isn't it so welcoming?

Paris Hilton's old home

Paris Hilton's old L.A. home is back up for rent. She hasn't lived in this home since 2007 but here's what it looked like when Paris called it home.
Although I find a lot of her decor over done and a bit tacky, a couple of her rooms are really spectacular.

I love the staircase mainly becuase of the dark wood floors and zebra rug. The chandelier is the ultimate icing.

My favorite room is her dining room. It's totally glamorous but not in an overwhelming way.

Monday at My Home

First of all I need to give big thank yous to some extremely sweet readers and fellow bloggers! I got some of the sweetest emails from Chantale over at Skiny Mini Kiki and Stephanie from Bonita Bellita. They totally lifted my spirits this weekend and they are two of the sweetest people you will meet. I also want to thank Miss K from Love, Lipstick, and Pearls for giving me three awards this past week! I was tickled pink to get them and I love your blog, your such a doll! And for all the people who constantly leave comments and send me sweet little notes, it means the world to me and I look forward to all your wonderful input and love. Thank you so much!

So for this Monday at my home I wanted to show you pictures of all the chairs in my home. I have quite a variety and I know you have seen most of them but just in case you want a closer look, here you go.

BTW I got half off the amoire this weekend and put my money down for it, so hopefully we will get it picked up from the store the beginning of this week! Yay projects!

It is hung and no one died

Okay so my title is a bit dramatic but my husband and I were both scared for our lives when we hung the Ikea light fixture! Take a look for yourself, you can tell how tall my husband had to climb up on a ladder. I was the person down below holding the ladder to keep it from slipping or moving. Scary stuff, both my husband and I are scared of heights. Thank you Lover, you are my hero!

But somehow the scariness of it all just fades away when I see the end result hanging beautifully in our entryway.

This is a bonus picture of the latest arrangement in our house. This little nook is right under our stairs. You know me, I like to show you even if I have moved just a single candlestick! Lol!
What did everyone else do this weekend?
