It is hung and no one died

Okay so my title is a bit dramatic but my husband and I were both scared for our lives when we hung the Ikea light fixture! Take a look for yourself, you can tell how tall my husband had to climb up on a ladder. I was the person down below holding the ladder to keep it from slipping or moving. Scary stuff, both my husband and I are scared of heights. Thank you Lover, you are my hero!

But somehow the scariness of it all just fades away when I see the end result hanging beautifully in our entryway.

This is a bonus picture of the latest arrangement in our house. This little nook is right under our stairs. You know me, I like to show you even if I have moved just a single candlestick! Lol!
What did everyone else do this weekend?

Love it! IKEA is a weakness of mine! I live in Kansas City and drive to Minneapolis at least every summer to go shopping there! It's great!

wow, it makes your entry so dramatic now-love it. i really like the different frames and art by your stairway too.
curious, does your husband ever care about your decorating decisions or does he just sit back and relax ( i know he bought you the fixture for your bday). my husband has so many opinions and is so difficult sometimes-you are so lucky!
