Monday at My Home

Yay! Badda boom badda bing, another project checked off my list! We transformed my old pet project black bathroom into my new pet project wallpaper bathroom. This time a round it turned out much much better. My husband and I soon discovered after starting with the wallpaper, that wallpaper is pure evil! It is so so hard to put up! People say how it is so much easier than it used to be, if this is easier than why in the world did people wallpaper their whole houses back in the day? We were so overwhelmed we decided to just wallpaper two of the walls instead of the whole thing. I painted the whole bathroom a gray that matched the darker shade of gray of the wallpaper. I think it turned out pretty great!

hmmm, thanks for the wallpaper warning, i've never actually tried it myself, i've been REALLY wanting to though, i'll have to swallow a dose of pure patience it sounds like. ah, and my signifcant other, well let's just say he's not quite as patient as perhaps your husband was! ;) but, on another note, i LOVE the transformation. truly brightened the entire small space right up! love, love, love it!!!

Like what you did with the mirror. I did that to an old mirror in my bathroom as well but did it orange. The top of yours is great.

Wow, FANTASTIQUE! Love that mirror! I think I prefer the two walls with wallpaper than the whole room. Gives it a nice break and makes it into accent pieces. Great job!! So stylish..

I love finally seeing the finished product! It looks great.

Also, your floating arm holding the camera in the 2nd pic of the "after" bathroom gave me a little chuckle ;)

I love the idea of lemons as decorations, although they don't tend to last an awfully long time out of the fridge...unless you have any tips?
