Aha moment

Sorry everyone I am such a spazz sometimes. I asked you all for your advice on what to do with my daughter's new table, then I had one of those light bulb moments that I was just like that would be the coolest! I have totally considered the chalkboard paint and the black and white. But somehow when I thought of doing pink and light pink chevron stripes I knew that would be perfect! It is going to be very challenging but very cheap and that's a must!
However if it goes south, that is the wonderful thing about paint you can just paint over it. This is a picture of fabric and it is pink and white but I wanted to give you an idea of what it would look like. Do we love this?

I absolutely love that idea! I am all into the chevron too! I am reupholstering an ottoman and I have now decided on chevron stripes, but I don't know what colour yet. Have you seen this:

Another blogger decided to do pink and white chevron stripes on a dresser. Might give you inspiration!

This would look great if it had a black or soft blue border. Even a soft yellow would look good! I know more work, but more design!

Well, you the saying - pink's a girl's best color!!! I think that would be a very cute color and the white helps to balance the shade of pink. I think pink on pink looks amazing. Just try to keep the shades not to far apart, so they will compliment each other perfectly..
